What You Need To Do

Placing Your Order

Once you know what type of piece you want, read through the extra details below. Then, click the “Book Now” that will send you to a form to fill out, effectively securing your spot and placing your order. You can either submit your reference photos in the form, or you email them to me.

I will immediately reach out to you confirming that I have seen your order, and will let you know of the tentative wait time to get started on your piece. When it is time to begin your painting, I will send you an invoice for half of the total payment of your order, and will get started once I have received your payment. I work closely with my clients and will be contacting you regarding any questions or clarifications I have, and will send you a sketch before it is time to paint. Once you have approved the sketch, I will begin painting. When I have finished your piece, I will send you a picture for you to confirm the completion of the painting. Once confirmed, I will send a second invoice asking for the last half of your payment, and will send your finished painting as soon as I have gotten your final payment.

Please read below for other details concerning customer satisfaction, shipping, etc.

What You Should Know

Painting + Shipping Time

Timelines can vary depending on the busyness of the season or if I have other custom orders placed before yours. Once you book your spot, it holds your place in line. I will notify you ahead of time when it is time to begin your custom piece, and will then send an invoice for the first half of your payment. Once I have received your payment we will work together to complete your piece! Usually paintings take within 2-3 weeks once started, but again, this could vary.

Custom Painting Customer Satisfaction

I work very closely with my clients who order custom paintings. I will go off of as many reference pictures you send to me and include any details you have specified, and I will communicate frequently throughout my completion of your order. Before beginning the painting process, I will send you the tentative sketch. Once you have approved of the sketch and I begin painting, making changes or edits becomes more limited.

While I work hard to ensure that the piece matches your vision, I do not offer “re-do’s.” I hold the right to use my personal & professional artistic style going off of the pictures I have been given.

Packaging Your Order

I handcut all my pieces and place them in a plastic cover backed with chipboard for an added measure of durability. Your piece is then placed in a sturdy, cardboard mailer and will be mailed using USPS services.

I do my best to ensure that your order will get to you in perfect condition. However, I am not liable for theft or damages to your order once I ship it. When you purchase my products, you agree that the risk of loss transfers to you as the buyer once I deliver your order to the shipping carrier USPS.

What I Use

I use the highest quality watercolor supplies, using Arches cold pressed paper pads, Winsor & Newton and Princeton professional brushes, and Winsor & Newton professional paints, as well as Daniel Smith Artist Materials.

Client Testimonials

  • Marie is amazing!! She goes above and beyond to make your vision come to life. She treats each aspect with so much delight and care, and am beyond happy with how this painting came out. She recreated my family home perfectly and will forever be a cherished piece.

  • Marie was always a text away when I had requests, details I wanted her to notice (which she already did), questions, etc. I felt like we were sitting next to one another looking at the progress yet we're a whole state away from one another. I didn't have a good photo that encapsulated the house nor did we even have many for the correct season. Marie is a creative genius. I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday because we had moved out of state from our first home we had purchased and didn't have a nice photo of our home. The package had a do not bend/fold sticker. Marie is so thoughtful to think of everything! My husband was so moved by her works of art that he was brought to tears and he rarely ever cries! We love your work and are so lucky to have two pieces that capture a special time in our lives. Blown away.

    Becka, House Portrait

  • This was a magical gift to give my mother. Even my 6yo. daughter was moved to tears at the sight of her grandparents' home so perfectly brought to life. Marie understands the emotional aspect of these paintings and approaches them with love and meticulous attention.
